Service Description

The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® certified Heartsaver First Aid and CPR/AED Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult, child and Infant CPR, and AED. Units include: First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, CPR and AED Certification. Course Length: 2.5-3 Hours Material and Cheat Sheet provided. Certification is valid for 2 years. CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking. Instruction is given on recognition of life-threatening emergencies and basic CPR techniques. It is available to anyone desiring, or required, to obtain the knowledge and skills taught at this level. Upon successful completion of skills demonstration, students will receive their Heartsaver® First Aid & CPR/AED course completion card which is valid for two years.
